Alright, its been a while. Another calculus exam, another physics exam, a history midterm and a history paper. Went to two events: The Nexus, and The Gwenethlin Chronicles 1. Very fun. Got a mild case of frostbite at The Nexus. Wore armor for the first time at Gwenethlin. Chain mail is very heavy. I wore approximately 50 pounds of chain mail armor for about 10 hours for Gwenethlin (10 pounds for the coif--for the head, and 40 pounds for the chain mail shirt, approximately). Extremely fun. I'm coming into my character more and more, and I'm finding the Realms more and more fun. No, I don't spend every waking moment thinking about it--I do other "non-geekish" things, such as pool, cross country, and hanging out with friends, along with that thing called "studying", "eating", and "sleeping".

No classes on Tuesday...errr...today...so I get to sleep late. I need to do some physics homework, fill out an application for an RA position for WPI's Frontier's program, and change my schedule for next year (I have Dynamic Systems, Heat Transfer, AND Fluid Mechanics all in a single term...a good way to commit suicide; I'm going to drop Heat Transfer and put Statistics 1 in its stead).

Heres the deal with my exams:

Calculus 4: 93 (lost 7 points of 25 on #4)

Oscillations, Waves, and Optics: 80 (damn sig figs, plus being an idiot on the last question didn't really help)

I did watch Dune Saturday night/Sunday morning with Owen. Great great movie. Started at about 2230, ended at 0330. LONG movie. I can't wait to see the 8 hour version and read the books.

I'm almost finished with my history paper. If I finish that tonight, I'll be able to study hardcore tomorrow for the midterm exam on Friday (35% of my grade).

Let me revise what I said about the peace protesters in my last update...I do not dislike them for being anti-war (hell, war is bad), I dislike them for using idiotic arguments. If you are anti-war, on the basis that war is bad and should be avoided, you've got my respect. If you are anti-war and do a "die-in" in the middle of the road to pretend to be all the Iraqi civilians we're supposedly going to kill on purpose, and that we're going to destroy Iraq's infrastructure, well, its not going to be my fault when a driver snaps and runs the lot of you over. And since you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy (by stopping commerce along said road, you are slowing down our economy, making it harder for us to wage war), you are technically a traitor and are committing treason. The punishment is summary execution, sans trial. They are the ones who I dislike. I have debated with intelligent people on the subject, and some of them are my friends. Just don't go around saying we're bayonetting babies or anything like that. And being politically correct sucks ass.
