Alright, blah, differential equations suck. Statics sucks because the professor doesn't assume basic knowledge of physics (meaning he plods through examples which I could have done within five minutes...takes him 50 minutes). Linear Algebra is cool, though tedious. Hardest course: differential equations without a doubt. That happens when you get Tricky Lui for a professor. Great teacher, but his tests have way too many tricks on them (hence the nickname).

Note to self: GET SOCIAL COURAGE AND GO OUT AND TALK TO GIRLS...yeah, Hell will freeze over first, but hey, whatever.

No pool tables available...grrr...I hate that.

Cross country is going all right, though, so thats good.

I'm going to try and find something to do right now, bye.

Ok, here's the update of the week.

Moved in as of Sunday, August 24th, 2003 AD/CE. Bought food. Came to total of about $23. We're eating damned well, we're all good chefs, and take pride that we don't screw up on our food. Sunday's supper: pasta salad. Monday's breakfast: 3 egg scrambles with cheese and bacon. Monday's lunch: no lunch needed. Monday's supper: chicken fajitas. Tuesday's breakfast: wasn't concious. Tuesday's lunch: leftover chicken fajitas. Tuesday's supper: mac + cheese + spaghetti sauce + hamburger meat.

So yeah, we're eating well. Damned pool tables are always taken...I ask myself: shouldn't the freshmen be at NSO or doing something productive, and leave the pool to us cool sophomores?

A big fuck you goes to Russ, who ran the table on me (the one time we grabbed it). Damn that was impressive. The sucky part is that it was against me. Great playing by Russ...hopefully I'll be able to do that next time we play.

Right now we're just Starcrafting a bit, just relaxing after a long day. We're expecting Bill at about 2230.

I finished some homework due the first day of class for Statics (ES 2501). First problem was too easy. Last problem was too hard. Middle problem was just right. Heh, I feel like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It should be a fun course, but it also might kill me. We'll see.

We got LOTR: TTT DVD today (thats Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in nerd speak, I'd also give you a 1337 speak translation, but I don't have that sort of time). Should be kickass with your GIGANTIC sound system. 12 speakers so far. And a dozen more to be brought from Russ's house soon, with a few more amps (only 2 right now), and a few subs.

Its getting close to the first day of classes of the 2003-2004 academic year here at WPI. Wish me all the luck...I'm going to need it...especially D-Term.

Oh, forgot to mention: BUZZ OFF!!!

Due to superior tactics and strategy today, I won a game of Risk. My strategy was simple: "DON'T FUCK UP!". Worked for me. I suggest that everyone tries it at least once.

Need I say Maverick kicks ass? Well, at poker at least, and gunfighting. And at getting women.

Best "Imaginiff" quote from today: "So, Chuck, Imaginiff you were in a threesome........."

Best Risk threat (from me!): "You do that, and I'll turn you into Bloody Krunch!" Nick: "The English breakfast cereal!"

Funniest web-comic goes to: PENNY ARCADE! It'll brighten up your day no matter what. Unless you hate games. And computers. In that case, steer clear, because you're too much of a fucknut to get the humor. Or if you're Mr. LeMaitre, which automatically qualifies you for an "honorary fucknut" award.

Yes, I am EXTREMELY hyper. I've had so much food and sugar today that I cannot actually control what I type, think, or do, currently. Its a very scary feeling, its like getting drunk, I guess, but without the alcohol.

I move in tomorrow, wish me luck. I'mma be on my way EARLY. Before you guys probably wake up (except for Mr. Nathan, who already started school).

Take care, and stay safe all.

Friday nights are usually fun. This night followed that rule. Except its the last Friday night out before school. I move in Sunday. Classes start Thursday. I'll miss Friday nights out at home.

We started out at the schoolyard, playing whiffle ball (didn't want to run due to the heat and humidity). Barely missed the huge thunderstorm thanks to an impromptu ride from Chuck's parents to the 99. I got fried calamari, as did Chris. Marky order a full rack of ribs, but received (and was charged) for only half. Nick got the chicken, broccoli, and ziti. Chuck got the Bignines burger. Mike got the Southern fajita ("may I please have two chicken fa-jie-tas?"--Family Guy). Bill got the Bignines bacon cheeseburger.

Then we walked all the way to O'Lindy's to bowl. We sucked. I got the highest score of the night (77). I got the best animation, too, and Chris, that was NOT a man!

We walked back. Evidently there was a shooting tonight in Quincy, victim was killed. The cops chased him into Dorchester, where they shot him, and he might have been killed (not sure).

I finished "A Clash of Kings", now to read the next book in the series: "A Storm of Swords". I swear if House Stark gets more screwed (well, daughters are being kept hostage, they lost Winterfell, with a large Lannister host loomming after defeating Lord Stannis at King's Landing...), I'm going to kill someone. The best character in the series definitely has to be either Jon Snow (a bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell) or Tyrion Lannister (the King's Hand). I just hate how the author (George R. R. Martin) switches between chapters...its like made for serials. I can't wait for the Targaryens to make their appearance in the Seven Kingdoms again. Oh, and what I've said here does not spoil the plot. When you read the book, you'll understand why. Plus there's 4 more books in the series.

Alright, enough of that.

Plans for tomorrow: wake up at 0730. Proceed to get hair cut. Eat. Eat again. Get ready for moving in. Eat. Arrive at Mr. Johnson's at 1300. Play Risk. Kick ass. Watch movies. Make sure he doesn't kick me in the head for not bringing Aliens vs. Predator II. Make sure he doesn't kill me for not putting "Matrix Ping-Pong" to CD and bringing it over.

My plans for Sunday are pretty well known. Move in day. Ugh...

Take care all, stay safe.

Today's adventures included the following:

WAKING UP! Reading part of a book ("A Clash of Kings"). Eating. Played Star Wars: Rebellion for a while. Showered. Got dressed (yes, I remembered to do that this time around!). Ate again (yes, I'm packing on the pounds).

Went to grandmother's house. Talked. Went to eat at Outback. Promptly got sick from mixture of cream sause and lemon juice (dairy products curdled in my stomach from the acid). Promptly booted.

Went back to grandmother's house. Ate ice cream.

Came home. Read more of the book. Played more Rebellion. Ate again. Here I am now. Being bored. Wishing I had something to do. Maybe I should get some sleep...yes...sleep...mmmmm................................................................................................................................................................but no, no rest for the weary. I need to get ready for moving back into WPI.

Hey guys, me again. Yeah, I know, you're tired of me, and you all think I suck. Believe me, I know.

For any of those interested (few as you are), here is what happened today.

1400: Chris, Marky, and Nick come through the door...bearing gifts! (Soda)

We promptly chow down on chips and dip and goldfish, while watching this weird Australian spoof of the Matrix.

After that, we immediately went into a game of Risk. My strategy, if Chris hadn't been stupid, would have worked wonderful. Bastard thought that Marky wasn't threatening yet (which he was), and so attacked me. It wasn't that I was caught unprepared--I had made suitable defenses. It was the fact that my rolls SUCKED ASS!!! I don't believe I got above a 3 for the entirety of his attack.

At the end, Marky was dominating, so Chris and Nick allied against a common foe, and Marky whined about how it wasn't fair. It was quickly pointed out that he would seize any opportunity to gain an advantage--it was just that Chris and Nick did it before he had the chance. So the game ended there.

Then we watched Rejected (quote of the day: "My anus...is bleeding. My anus is bleeding. MY ANUS IS BLEEDING!!!") Disturbing? Yes. Its a cartoon about an artist who was to draw commercial cartoons and how they were all rejected outright.

Then we watched more commercials, with copious amounts of good looking women in them. Then watched Matrix Ping-Pong.

Calzones were ordered from Balducci's (a tradition!). We got a Buffalo Chicken calzone and a Pepperoni calzone. And, as usual, they kicked ass. What made it even better was watching "Family Guy" while eating. Great show.

Then we ate a chocolate cake. Should've hid some peanuts in there for Chris's benefit (*snigger*), but alas, my mother threatened to stab me, so I quickly abandoned that plan.***********

It was delicious. Oh, and how could I forget us chowing down on smoked ribs my uncle gave to me? THEY WERE DELICIOUS, THANK YOU UNCLE MARK!!!!!!!

*********And if you thought I would actually do this, you'd either be stupid, or you'd be Chris. I dunno why he'd believe I'd do that and try to kill him, but he does. I haven't poisoned him unintentionally, either (remember at Robotics, Chris, twice in what, two weeks?). I'd never try to do that to Chris. Offing a friend isn't my favorite pasttime (or even a preferred pasttime, or even a liked one, more like a the most wretched thing I could do). I'd rather be playing Risk, or chowing down, or swimming, or eating ribs...mmmmmmm......ribs......or watching Family Guy (except where Pete tries to have sex with the pillow "come on honey, move or something, its like doing it with a pillow!"......."Peter! I stayed at my mother's that night!"......"Oh...."...), along with hanging out.

Gonna miss everyone when I move back in next Sunday. Take care guys, and until later on today, its his HYPERness himself, saying GOOD NIGHT!!!

Ok, so this is REALLY REALLY random, I know, but I've been up for a long time and I need my sleep...well...how does it feel to need?

For those of you who aren't elite enough to speak 1337 speak as fluently as I do:

Hello, this is your daily update up for your consideration!

Today's action:

1. Volunteered at food pantry
2. Went to eat at O'Connors (omg...so full...going...to...BURST)
3. Got caught in an assload of traffic on the way home.
4. Read a good portion of "Clash of Kings".

Nothing else really happened. Just relaxing before the hecticity of getting ready to move into my apartment.

Wednesday, August 13, 2003

Hey hey, everyone! Here's what I have accomplished today! Err...not a whole lot, but that doesn't matter!

I woke up (always a good thing).

Ate some lunch (leftovers from Finian's, but that made me sick...so I had to refill up with a bagel a half hour later).

Played Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator...I've flown 11 sorties and racked up 84 kills (64 aerial victories, 20 ground kills).

Met up with Chuck (Happy 21st Birthday, you old fart!), Chris, Bill, and Mike at Wollaston T, continued on to Quincy Center station, and walked from there to Gennaro's Eatery (KICK ASS FOOD!!!). I got penne with sausage (a big fuck you to Chuck, you bastard! He said: "ah yes, in the true spirit of WPI!"). He got linguine with meatballs (oh yes, like yours was any better, old fogey). Chris got lasagna. Mike got a broccoli and chicken calzone (huge! damn was it big!). Bill got a veal parmigiana sub.

After that, we walked to O'Lindy's and went candlepin bowling (and got fucked up the ass price wise-- $3 fucking per game!!!). Played 2 games...we all found out that we sucked horribly (my prediction of only one strike between the five of us came true, with only a few spares).
Chris left after the first game (has work this morning).

Then we walked all the way back to Wollaston T station and my father picked me up there and drove Chuck home, then we went home. And here I am! So BUZZ OFF!!!

Note to self: START RUNNING AGAIN! Coach will kill you if you don't!

Tuesday, August 12, 2003

Bloginians, welcome! Today is my eleventy-first birthday! Not really (good thing!).

Here's what I've been up to:

Went to Finian's for lunch. Went to Barnes and Noble (got "Clash of Kings", second book in a great series by George R. R. Martin). Came home. Played "Sorry".

Played MS Combat Flight Simulator. I want to kill my wingman. I finished a campaign mission, had the plane at full-stop upon landing, ready to end the mission, and he LANDS RIGHT ON F*CKING TOP OF ME!!! Great job, wingmate! That mission would have had me one kill shy of being an ace, to boot!

Tomorrow's schedule: sleep, wake up, go back to sleep. Eat lunch (important stuff, this eating!). Go to Wollaston station at 1700 hours to meet up with Chris, Chuck, Bill, Mike and head to Quincy Center and eat there, then go over to O'lindy's and see how much we suck at candlepin bowling.

C y'all later!

Welcome back, Bloglings! Got back from Lake George, NY (actually, Queensbury, NY, but who cares?) early this afternoon.

Let me briefly outline what we did:

1. I got scally cap!!! I've been looking for one for what seems like EVER.

2. Saw Fort Ticonderoga.

3. Saw Fort William Henry (don't go there...TOURIST TRAP!)

4. Hung around at the hotel and all in all, had a VERY relaxing trip.

Lets see whats up for later on tonight...ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY NOTHING!!! Well, might bug Chris a bit, tell me all about his drunken tales while he was on vacation. Don't forget to tell me what you had, and what was best...need to get ready for the coming school year you know!

Ron, you SOB, get yerself back in Quincy! Pronto! Well, after you finish the movie, of course! You dunno how much fun you're missing! (Erm...yeah...I tweaked the definition of "fun" slightly there...). Best of luck with everything, man.

(Yes, I'm hyper right now...almost no sugar in a few days, and I just ate alot of it, so WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!)

Right, all of you, BUZZ OFF, right now! Talk to all of you later! Erm, hopefully, that is.

Went out to dinner at VinnyT's of Boston (formerly called "Vinny Testa's", which is located in DEDHAM). Great food...so damn full...

It was really cloudy, but it cleared up quickly, so that was really good timing. Grandmother came back to my house for cake (was wicked good cake, too).

Chris called, which was good, I had thought he might have fallen off the edge of the Earth or something. He had gone on vacation, and he's got some stories, which will have to wait until we all go out Friday night with the group and go carousing (yes, I carouse QUITE well, thank you very much).

Today was a good day. Hopefully the next few months will be full of days like this (other than growing older, that is :-( ).

Good morning Bloggerians/Bloggerites/Bloggers/Bloggidians! Today is my birthday! I have survived 19 years of existence! I pray I survive many more.

I just got back in from a short run a while ago (humid out, I also got dehydrated...go me!), felt really good.

Plans: RELAX!!! EAT!!! RELAX!!!

Until later on today, Bloggies, take care, and fare well!

Saturday, August 02, 2003

Good evening, my blogger fans...all one or two of you!

Today's events, chronologically!!!:

0755: rudely woken up to get ready for work at 0900 (my alarm was set for 0800...would 5 measely minutes REALLY matter?).

0838: got to Veteran's Memorial Stadium to begin work...guess what, boys and girls! Track meet cancelled due to weather and track conditions.

0905: went back to bed and slept until 1205. I wouldn't have been so tired if people didn't keep me up all night talking to me *glares*.

1205: rudely woken AGAIN! (What the hell is wrong with people these days...can't people leave me alone?!?)

1212: call Chris...no one's home...strange, he shouldn't be on vacation, because he's working at Hanscom AF Base right now on co-op from Northeastern.

1310: called Chris yet again, just in case.

In the meantime: ate food (again!)

1400: called Chuck...debated what to do this afternoon. He said he hurt his back, so playing b-ball or stickball down the schoolyard was right out. It was a beautiful day (at that point), and so I wasn't willing to stay inside and play video games all day. Compromised on going to Marina Bay and getting an ice cream there.

1623: Bill and Chuck show up at my door, we proceed to Marina Bay. I got a snickers ice cream cup with jimmies. Saw Beth H. and Carolyn K. working there. Said hi. Ice cream was good.

1820: Got back home. Typing this damn thing up. Are you happy now? I'm happy that your happy...well, not really. I guess I'm pretty bored now. Yep, definitely bored. Thanks for being there for me when I'm bored, guys.

Quote of the day: Bill: "So, how was the sausage-fest at WPI for the past couple of weeks?"

Me: *pushes Bill into sign post* (missed by an inch, bastard saw it coming)
Bill: "So I take it you had a good time, then." (This means war)

Alright, I've babbled enough. Sorry for taking up so much of your time. Until later on, take care!

Frontiers is over :-(. As promised, tears did flow, and I did curl up into a ball (well, I was going on vacation then, so it wasn't that hard to do). I am definitely going to miss all of you guys. You BETTER come to shadow me or attend WPI. I can't stand the thought that I might not see all of you sometime again.

News: I miss my residents. Even if they did lock me out of my room, pretend it was their birthday (ooh...I almost killed something over that...namely Mr. Webber, but it was rather funny, I'll admit :-) ).

Other news: we're splitting up the things to bring to the apartment in late August. Good progress going on it.

Still more news: summer is almost over. I can't wait to get back to WPI. Weird...most people don't like going back to school.

Quote by me, when being told to look at a hot girl (sky ride, Canobie Lake Park):
Chuck: Matt, check your four o'clock
Me: Damn, that's a nice cable system they've got there
Chris: Oh...my...God...you do realize he was talking about the GIRL, right?
Me: Oh...well, she's good, too...not as sexy as the cabling system, though
Chris + Chuck proceed to pummel me. I guess it just wasn't my lucky day.

STILL more news: Ummm...more on that later, if I ever remember what I was gonna type here.
