Alright, I still have to do the Stress homework thats due in just over 6 hours. Making the decision to go to Dennys may not have been the smartest choice, but, as far as I was concerned, it was the only choice. Once I hand in the Stress homework, I can snooze for 5 whole hours before history. I'm not going to bother doing the reading for it...sleep is way more important.
Recap of tonight's events: Went out to dinner at Subway, got additional sword and board training from Steve (I had just started to get cocky and confident in my skills...damn how wrong I was...), and did alot of fighting. The best I did tonight was a variation of a bridge battle (no water), and I was arching a bit. This was once in a lifetime archery from me...pretty much wiped out the entire enemy side. I was damned lucky. Thats one thing I can almost guarantee will never happen again. I wish I could do that through skill, rather than luck. I did have a chance to talk to Jen tonight. Of course, as soon as we go somewhere thats semi-private, I forget everything I was going to talk to her about. If I need to tell her, then I'll just send her an e-mail or something. Pretty much we both said that everything was cool and we're going to try and go back to normal. Aye, whatever this concept of "normal" is...I mean, its me we're talking about here. Thank God the friendship wasn't destroyed. Thanksgiving break is going to be much appreciated. Lots of food, lots of drink (non-alcoholic, before anyone gets in a wisecrack or two), and lots of seeing family and friends. Well, at least I hope for the lots of seeing family and friends. I know I'm going out Friday night with 'em to see a movie, catch dinner, and then either go play pool at BU or go to Jillian's. It'll be the first time in 5 weeks that I've seen them...I miss Friday nights carousing around and getting all the chicks, and...oh f*ck, forgot thats what we SAY we're going to do...never actually works out that way. I guess we're just too cool for the ladies, yep, thats it, just wicked cool. Ok, I reread my favorite poem, Charge of the Light Brigade, and decided to write one to try and mimick its dramatic imagery. I think my creation is crap, but I'll post it here sometime and let you guys rip into it. Ron called my cell today. Damn...its been almost a year since I've seen you. You've been missed by all of us. We're going to have to do a Risk get together in your honor sometime soon. And no...we will NOT play Ron's Rules of Engagement. 13-14 hours for 4 turns is a LITTLE too much to ask for :-P. I mean, if setup takes an hour, we should have figured out that the game was going to take an ass load amount of time. Just a plain old normal Risk. I'd best attempt to solve these problems now. Good night everyone, and keep safe.
