Forgot to mention my history project. We have to compile a research paper and do a multimedia presentation on George Mallory's and Andrew Irvine's 1924 attempt to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. We've got 4 weeks to complete the project. As if he doesn't assign enough reading or anything.

Now Playing: "For Boston!"--Dropkick Murphys.

I gave up on the stress homework...don't have enough time before fight practice. At least for me to do a good job on it, that is. I nowadays try not to do a half-assed job on things. Its very alluring to do, especially with those stress problems.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot, as an engineer, I have to make a mathematical concept:

"Love is War.
War is Hell.
Love is Hell?"

I guess it is. Haven't experienced it yet, but mathematical models are usually quite accurate! ;-)

Then there is that one that deals with the harder you work, the less money you receive...and that one about how drinking beer makes men into women (well, the way they act, at least). I've never been slapped for that comment. I'm too smart to say that to a woman's face! I'm not risking anything here though, because, so far as I know, only guys read this. So you'd probably agree with me...actually, I know most of you do.

I need to figure out why my joystick isn't compatible with XP Pro...I NEED to fly some flight combat simulators...I have this itch to shoot things down and blow shit up and really tear it up. Lots of explosions = Me Happy, unless I'm IN the explosions, then me not so happy. Actually, I can't be unhappy, because then I'll be dead...so I'd be happy either way! Gotta love my nonsensical logic capabilities.

"True leaders lead from the front, by example."--Unknown. A true leader also does not tell people to do what he would not do himself.

I've been reading about the possibility of reinstating the draft. My opinion is that every young man should be conscripted for 2 years of mandatory military service. I won't write why, because that would take more time than I currently have. If it bothers you, I'll explain it to you over AIM or in person some time. If I am called up by my nation, I will go proudly and (hopefully) serve with courage and honor. There are those who would run away to Canada or Mexico to avoid the draft. Shame on you. By evading the draft, you're effectively having someone else being sent in your place. Cowards. Anyways, I'm thinking about joining a National Guard unit in the near future (read: within 3 years), and will probably become a Combat Engineer.
