Heya folks.

Lesson #1 for today: Don't wrap wrists in multiple layers of duct tape. If you've got hairy arms like me, its fine...until its time to unravel it and rip it off. The reason why I braced my wrist with it is because lately its been feeling sort of weak, and I didn't want today to worsen the situation, so I put about 6-7 layers of it to give added support to where the arm connects to the hand. It worked wonderfully, especially after stretching out beforehand (sorry for not fighting you earlier, Ryan, but I needed to stretch it out and wrap it).

I believe my wrist is weaker now because of my martial arts training...since I was "young and energetic", my instructor would choose me as a rag doll. You've all probably had me go "hey guys, listen to this!" and put my wrist up to your ears and rotate my hand--that snapping you hear is the bone grating because he put me in a joint lock so hard one time that I slapped him with everything I had across the chest several times (tap on the leg = mild pain...tap your own chest = moderate pain, ease up a bit...slap the other guy's chest = severe pain, joint is about to break). Snapping my thumb one time hurt less than that joint lock maneuver.

Anyways, I'm missing arm hair now. Thankfully my watch covers up most of the affected area.

So, today was wicked AWESOME. Started off the day with a 5 hour Starcraft marathon ( 0000 hours to 0500 hours). Slept until 1100 hours. Went to Riley Commons to fight in a dungeon crawl, which kicked ass, by the way. Cheers to everyone who worked to make it fun for us.

Then it was off to the campus center to restock on salts and fluids...and fats...mmmm...Burger King...

Aye, then played Cutthroat with Dave and Meg. Dave says he has no skill, but he's alot better than he lets on to. He made some impressive shots. And I mean the "HOLY SHIT!!! HOW THE F*CK DID YOU DO THAT?!?" variety of shots.

Should have come back to work on homework, but got dragged off to see "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life". Even though the movie sucked, it was better than doing work.

I had every intention of working on my homework after I got back from that...but then I was "forced" by Russ to go bowling (free bowling tonight for residents of the Ellsworth/Fuller Apartments). It was a good ending to an excellent day. I finally broke 100!!! (In my last game, I got a score of 112.) Sure, that may not seem impressive to you guys, but I'm a horrible bowler--I think I'm having a good night if I can hit the 60/70 mark for scoring. Plus there was free pizza (cold by the time we got there :-/ ) and soda. Russ was really put off that he got 173 (he averages 260), and was bitchy until we got back to the apartment. Can't blame him for it, its not like the past few weeks have treated either of us kindly...thanks to Stress Analysis (yay for take home exam tomorrow...yeah...woo fucking hoo...).

Tonight's work: compile manuscript for Creative Writing

Tomorrow's Happenings: 9 AM appointment with professor to go over my work. 9:30 AM appointment with my project group at 32 Dean St. with another professor to discuss the changes of our history project...before its too late to be able to do it in a timely fashion (3 weeks to finish it up).

Then I'm going to do the take home exam with Russ...and then do history reading then work on a couple of poems.

At 6 PM I'm going to be at the Wedge to go for the Rhiassan supper, as usual, then fight practice at 7:30 PM. Last one before Thanksgiving.

Today has been an awesome day. Yeah, I'm REALLY far behind in Stress Analysis, but I'd prefer that than going through what I was. This day was wicked fun, and I was almost carefree (yeah, I worried about some things a little, but pay them too much attention--the situation is out of my control, and I'm finally coming to realize that its not worth getting bent out of shape for). I got to hit stuff (and be hit). I got to eat. I got to play pool. I got to see a movie. I got to go bowling. Wow...today was a day that I'd LOVE to repeat tomorrow (but I won't be able to, due to class and the pressures of homework I need to catch up on). And the next day. SWEET, just remembered no Creative Writing on Tuesday!!! Only 3 hours of class then!!!

Ok, I might come back later on tonight to write some more, but I don't know.

Have a good night, all, and take care.
