Blah, today has not gotten off to a good start. I woke up later than I wanted to [1245, instead of about 1000 hours]. And then it hit me, again. I should get myself checked out by a doctor.

I've got to take apart my computer today before I head off to North for the robotics brainstorming session. Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to the general meeting at the CTE tomorrow. I wish I was back in high school, where'd I'd spend all my time at the CTE during these six weeks. I'd have not a worry nor care in the world, other than "let's get this thing done on time". So much better than worrying about girls, school, and life in general.

The meeting starts at about 1430 hours in Q's room. Not going to accomplish much, but think of things we might want the robot to do, and things that we should ignore [such as should we be able to use the infrared sensors? or the light sensor? or should we be a dead reckoning device?]. Nothing will be set in stone today. It's too early in the competition.

I can't wait to get back inside that machine shop. Once I'm in there, I'm off in my own little world. Not a care nor a worry bothers me in there. Well, there is, such as "don't stick your hand in the power clamp" and "don't look directly at the welding arc". A few years ago, at UTC, an unlucky engineer from Rehoboth (Team 208, if I remember this correctly) cut off the end of his index finger using a drill press. That was quite the hub bub that day. That's a weird way to lose your finger, though. I mean, I can understand with a grinder, or the sheet metal cutter, or even a lathe. But it was a freak accident. Maybe the bit locking mechanism got loose, and the entire collar fell. I don't know, I [thankfully] wasn't watching.

Things to do today: disassemble computer, shower, shave, eat stuff, then hopefully go out with Chris/Chuck/Bill later, if they're free. It's my last day here. I want to make the most of it.

Alright, I've got to get ready to go to robotics. Take care everyone. Hopefully next time you hear from me I won't be feeling like shit. And if I do, I'm gonna fling it in y0 face! Heh heh heh...
