Cead Mile Failte!!!
Alright! Wasn't feeling too well today [then again, I haven't been for the past few days]. But to hell with that! Let's start off with some funny-ass quotes! "We were going to take a bunch of pictures of the party complete with regular updates of our BAC. Great idea, except we forgot that we are idiots. Everyone kept topping out at .12%, so we kept drinking trying to break the magic .13 barrier. No one bothered to read that the damn machine maxes out at .12 -- unlike our bodies which just kept suffering under our efforts to get a High Score. Brilliant. --Red vs. Blue team member, commenting on the afterparty that took place once the New York premiere of Red vs. Blue: Season 2 was over. This next one isn't exactly a side-ripping funny, but you'll have had to have watched "Full Metal Jacket" to find it more than mere idiotic humor: "How do you shoot women and children?" "It's easy! You just don't lead 'em as much!" And this one, my friends, is located near the end of Season 2: Episode 1 of Red vs. Blue: DuFrayne: "I'm a pacifist." Caboose: "You're a thing that babies suck on..." Tucker: "No, dude, that's a pedophile." Church: "Tucker, I think he means a pacifier." Tucker: "Oh yeah, right. Man, I was totally thinking about something else." Church: "That's real classy, Tucker." Ok. Enough of how much Red vs. Blue rocks [I stopped the HTML tags because they're bastards to type out, so imagine the appropriate colors, ok?] So this is what happened today. Woke up, decided it was too early to wake up [without bothering to check my clock...too much effort]. Next time I opened my eyes it was 1243 hours...much too late for my liking, because I had a meeting to go to. Screwed around for a bit and spaced out for a while, not sure how long. Finished up my Guinness Pie [no, I am NOT kidding!] for breakfast. Next thing I know, it's 1400, and I have to be somewhere at 1430. I do the Aviation Challenge shower deal** and then scurried off to go to Q's room for the robotics meeting. **Aviation Challenge: Mach III requires it's own Blog entry, even though it took place a few years ago. It was a military style camp. We were so busy, we didn't have more than 90 seconds to shower...when we had the chance to shower because we were just so busy. But all that will be typed up in another Blog. Someday. Before we started the brainstorming, another alum from North piped up and asked if anyone was going to say "hovercraft" or "jet powered"...which several people were. They were informed that they are stupid and should be shot repeatedly for being so retarded [well, not really, but it would be interesting if that did happen]. But we shot and stabbed them repeatedly, anyways. Got some work done there...I'm really excited about working with the team again, and I can't wait to be back in that machine shop. If there is one thing that I love more than machining, it is teaching the students how to use the machinery safely and efficiently, and passing on any techniques I know of for better workmanship. First thing to teach them: make sure your mask is down before welding. That happened to me. Instant blindness, lasted for about a minute. That was fun. I think that I'm going to be a teacher when I grow up [going to happen someday...BAH!]. I mean, it's fun [well, not all the time], and extremely rewarding. The only downside is dealing with shitty coworkers [long story...they weren't bad people...but damn, you've got to be shitting me!]. Then I got home and we ordered out for Chinese food, and I ate alot [I was starving]. Watched "Fear Factor: Couples" for about five minutes before deciding that it is completely retarded, and the viewers must be watching just to see half naked women. Now, I'm not saying watching half naked women is a bad thing, but to watch a show just for the women is pretty lame, in my mind [they should be a bonus!]. So I came over here to talk to one of my roommates [Bill], who moved back into the apartment today. And then I watched Red vs. Blue [don't forget to imagine the colors]. Don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the night. I'll figure something out. Check y'all later.
