So, yeah. Friday was scary. Saturday...ugh...couldn't enjoy myself after the morning, even at Des's graduation party. Sunday, don't remember what I did yesterday. Oh wait, right, first, we tried going to watch the break dancing competition, but elected to not go after finding out the entrance fee was $10.
Then it was off to Quincy Center, and tried getting into this pool hall (21+), then a second pool hall (which had free pool...but only from 6-9PM...and it's 21+...anyone who looks under 50 will be carded--fuck you, seriously!). Chris called Brian and I "schmucks". Right, so a decision was made (while hanging out on the wall at Wollaston Beach) to head into Southie to Castle Island. We went, and played off the wall at Fort Independence. We got there a little too late to go inside and explore the fort and it's emplacements. But anytime is good for "Off the Wall". Except then Chuck goes and roofs the damned tennis ball. Then it was off to Sullivans. I hadn't been able to eat all day, but being with friends lightened my mood, and so I had three cheeseburgers, an order of fish and chips, an extra order of fries, and a large drink...for $10. Chris drove us home...still owe him $1 for gas...once home, I just kept eating and eating and eating. I'm a lean mean eating machine. Topped off the evening talking to that special someone. Made plans for today. Woke up feeling chipper (don't know what it means, but it's an accurate description of how I felt), and called up people to see if they wanted to go to Boston with me...I warned them that I was going to see my girlfriend, and to not hate me if I didn't pay them much attention (though they hate me anyways, so that wasn't the problem). Unfortunately, she wasn't able to make it, due to unforeseen circumstances. I miss her. Chuck and I head to Faneuil Hall anyways, and catch our favorite street performer do the same exact show he's done for the past couple years. Trust me, we saw him almost every Friday when we went to Mikes or the North End for food after movie. Great street performer though. We should probably stop being cheap jerks and tip him one of these times. Well, I did once. That was a long time ago. Had me laughing to the point where the muscles that make you smile pretty much stopped working. Then we went home, because both of us were miserable. Made plans to go see a movie...there was nothing else to do...and we saw Chronicles of Riddick, which sucked major ass, by the way. Came home, ate lots, read some. And then I became retarded and hurt Janine. Fuck. Last thing in the world I want to do, and yet I went and did it. Way to go, you stupid smartass. *Sigh* I'm my own worst enemy. Yeah, I'm now just sort of relaxing a bit before bed. Need to get up early to volunteer at the food pantry.
