Yesterday had a couple of milestones for me.
The first milestone was that I ran 3.5 miles at a sub-7 minute mile pace. Pushed myself, but not too hard, so I know I can do better. It's the toughest workouts you feel the best about :-). Second one was going to the RMV and getting my learner's permit. Test was wicked easy. I wish I had been smart and gotten it back when I was 16...but I was young and stupid and didn't have any reason to get one. Of course, now that I have a very important reason, I get sort of fucked over...my own fault though. I feel the best about the running, because unlike the permit, I actually had to work for it. What else? Oh yeah, once I got home from the RMV, went off to Quincy Track Club, and there were like 30 staff there for 50 kids or so. Don't know how Geoff pays us all...especially us office workers. We're lazy bums. When I got home, I ate a ton of chocolate and put caffeine into me. Received a phone call from the one and only LEXAN!. After talking to her, I went straight to bed, because I was wicked wiped. That's right punk, I'm talkin' to you! :-P Today's agenda: going out running soon, shower, eat, then it's off to Copley to pass out water at the Corporate Challenge Road Race. Then it's back home. And more eating. I get paid tonight! Hell yeah! Alright, now it's recovery day. Off to run. Au revoir, a bientot!
