I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that I'm still living and breathing and eating lots of yummy chili. The bad news is that they canceled my project at NASA. Damnit. Life has been rather hectic lately due to this thing called "PQP"--that means "Pre-Qualifying Project". It entails a ton of work, and eats up almost every waking moment of the day, but, ultimately is just busywork and EXTREMELY useless. Though it's kind of ok, because it's helping to organize our project for next term, but they're seriously not going to expect 25 hours of work per week, are they? If they do, they're going to be in for quite a shock. Anyways, our project group is meeting Saturday afternoon and heading out to eat, and discuss the project for a LONG time, because there are a ton of unknowns (it is a completely open-ended project, with no actual answer). Our project involves recording the "Sounds of Boston". Don't ask me what that means, because we seem to be the last people being informed of anything. On the billiards front, I'm doing quite well, and have been practicing and actually improved my shot quite a bit. Fixed a couple shooting mechanics issues and BAM, good to go. I should really start playing for money soon... What else is up, you might ask? I'm booking a flight and room for myself and my Vice-Pres. for a trip to Clemson University for some conference thing. I actually am having lunch with him in a short while to give him all the details. The one part I don't like is that I have to charge it and get reimbursed later. Lots of problems for me if something gets screwed up in the reimbursement department. AWESOME NEWS! They're starting up a Scout Venture club at WPI!!!!!!!!! HELL YEAH. Unfortunately, I have a PQP meeting during the time slot that they're having the introductory meeting, so I'll have to e-mail them or something to get the info. Sweet, now I have to go and do work.
