A long awaited (or despised) update. This time I will remember to save what I write first, so Blogger doesn't eat all the words. Like it usually does. Bastard.

Anyways, the project in Boston is nearing its close. There are some team dynamics problems. Mainly due to my unwillingness to create extra work for the team. One of my partners does that. And so he is almost always stressed out of his shoes. But, to give him credit, he's the one thing that has kept this team on track, due to the rest of us being slightly disorganized (case in point: we lost one of the TV clickers...don't ask how).

Other than project work, I've been up to a few things lately. Such as playing old-school video games, watching movies at night, getting free private fighting lessons from a professional fighter (my roommate), as well as starting to learn a bit of Irish. I kind of gave up on running for a bit due to the cold (cold + wind chill = bad stuff for runners, I won't get into it here).

But, on a more positive note, living in Boston is rather awesome. When I do get the chance to walk around, its breathtaking. Amazing. Unfortunately I prefer doing my walking during the day, and I don't have many daylight hours to spend outside.

On a VERY positive note, we are eating like kings. Three of us are quite good cooks (the other one cooks for himself), and so we make full use of our skills. Unfortunately, our budget keeps on a diet of chicken and beef instead of swordfish and fillet mignon, but I for one am not complaining!

The only thing I'm kind of not happy about is how the company I interviewed with has not gotten in touch with me in regards to an internship position. But whatever, I'm over it. There are worse fates. Such as being attacked by cute little bunnies. That are in search of a holy grail.

And a second thing I'm not thrilled about is that I need to get outdoors more. At least summer will be soon, and that means lots of out-of-doors time. Hopefully.

For those of you who think I'm crazy, you're wrong. I'm drop-dead insane. Welcome to my wittle world of wily wit, whining, and writing.

On a more sane note: today (18th) is the Boston Marathon. Which means either cheering at the finish, or giving runners MUCH needed support as they go up the grueling Heartbreak Hill. Or sit back and count how long it takes me to flip through all the channels on the TV.

Currently Paul Revere is making his famous ride to warn the countryside that the redcoats are coming, to be followed by a battle on Lexington Green at 4:00AM. Too bad they don't re-enact the British retreat, where they were soundly defeated.

So, here are some ideas for jobs over the summer:

1. Possible internship (chances getting slimmer by the day)
2. Some manufacturing place in Worcester (not what I'd like)
3. Higgins Armory in Worcester (which would KICK ASS)
4. Some place in Quincy, such as Stop and Shop, Dunkies, or whatever.

But now it is most definitely food time! Followed by watching UFC.
