Good evening all. Trivia night tonight, had quite a bit of fun (and we took 3rd place).

First, I'm going to admit that I've been kind of depressed lately. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for being a dick. Dr. Phil time later, now time for really damn cool stuff I wish I understood:

I found this cool article over on Slashdot. Evidently scientists have been able to make beryllium atoms spin both clock-wise and counterclock-wise at the same time! The cool thing is is that it follows the "force at a distant" concept, where if you have a string of beryllium atoms in this logically impossible state, and one 'realizes' that its in an untenable situation and collapses into spinning either clock-wise or counterclock-wise, then all the rest of the atoms will follow, as well. This has implications that rock back to Schrodinger's Cat thought experiment...but please visit http://slashdot.org to find out more. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a geek. I'm also afraid that the previous paragraph makes no sense to me, and would it would be great if someone could explain how that is actually possible.

Thirdly, Yankees suck, though you probably saw that one coming.

In other news, I'm going to read a bit more tonight, as well as drink plenty of water. And watch TV. And maybe throw a little sleep in there, as well. You know, keep the body guessing. Either way I need to get out on the road and run tomorrow. Heh. I'm baked like a potato...time for bed.

In other words, good night, and I'm far too tiered to make anymore sence at thi spoint in time. *

Well, it's been an eventful couple of days. First was Christmas, which was a gluttonous day of consumerism and making my heart really earn its pay. I love stuffing. Four sticks of buttery, heart stopping goodness.

Anyways, went running again today, and it sucked. Hopefully I'll be back up to my usual mileage by mid-May or early June.

In other news, my friend just advised one of his friends to order "bukkake" when she goes to a Japanese bakery tomorrow. That's evil, but yet hilariously so. I know that's not really appropriate, but I just couldn't help myself. Ordering bukkake at a Japanese bakery? I mean, come on!

In still more news, tomorrow night is trivia night at Murphy's Twin Shamrocks, come along, and help us in our bid to win $50 (or is it $40?). Win or lose there'll still be alcohol, so worry you not. This week's trivia is based around the year 2005 in review. So bring your thinking caps, and join us for a night of conversation, trivia, and fun.

The last thought of the night: Family Guy is awesome. I need to start reading. Good night.

Somehow I got my sorry behind out for a run today. Pretty short, only a 1,5 miles or so, but it definitely felt like a marathon...I love the feeling of ice forming in my lungs. Oh, and I was terribly disappointed in my time. So disappointed that I forced myself to eat healthfully, only three slices of pizza, with...well, with something else. I just don't remember what it was. Oh right, cookies...yum.

Yeah, I've not much to write about right now.

I'm still shocked that I need to drink 28 gallons of Diet Pepsi or 72 cans of Full Throttle at one go in order to kill myself. That's one hell of a power hour, if you ask me.

Ok. Got a B in Plastics and History. Still waiting for Thermofluid Design.

So I got up this morning, fired up and ready to go running. Ok, fine, that was a lie. I was woken up by someone from one of the school's departments about where some of my money is. I then fell back asleep, and woke up at a more reasonable hour--meaning not before 9:30AM.

I got up, decided to go running. Got to the front door and opened it, went "Fuck this." and then closed it again. So much for my great start into working out to get into shape for fighting. Then I consumed a large quantity of chocolates and other deliciously decadent things that make my arteries shrivel with fright.

The rest of the day was boring, though I did play Deus Ex for a while and got the mail. Which was fairly exciting, especially as I nearly locked myself out in the cold for a few hours. I hate doors. Mainly because they have locks.

In other news, the Colts lost to the Chargers. Excellent. I dislike Peyton Manning. Don't ask me why, maybe it's his attitude that he shows when things don't go his way. Then again, I should dislike more players for their little retard dances they do after making some sort of lackluster play. Especially since they then pat each other on the butt or do the crotch touching that is infamously associated with baseball.

Yeah, I'm impressed. Not really. In fact, I'm far more impressed when I don't bash my head on the ceiling when I wake up every morning. Which is happening fairly often now, as I am no longer sleeping in a bed that is 2 feet away from the ceiling.

Anyways, I should be going to bed soon. Maybe I'll get up and go running tomorrow. Ha. That's a good one. No, really, we'll see.

For my [very few] readers. This blog will continue to be the bastion of boredom and stupidity on the internet (catering available), but it will soon also contain a workout journal. So all of you who don't want to read about how I love the lovely sunshine of loving love or how badass I was when I kicked the possum in the face, skip over the section that starts with "WARNING! WORKOUT JOURNAL!".

The hilarious thing is that I get hangovers from exercise and not alcohol. Either that means I'm not drinking enough, or I'm spending my time doing the wrong thing.

Well, the Plastics exam wasn't so much an anal reaming as it was having an oil derrick searching in there for some black gold. It got a few nuggets, not exactly a load of riches.

Back home now. Being a lazy bum. Oh, and I got a haircut. Sweet. On top of that, I am proud to report that I haven't eaten ramen for a total of 3 days! And have been averaging about 8 hours of sleep per night. That comes to a total of 24 ramen days. Holy fire flies, Batman!

I am very f*cked for the plastics exam tomorrow. Extremely so. It's kind of like this. I'm trying to study, but having little sleep over the past few days is taking its toll on attention span. Kind of like writing this right now. I did get a good night's sleep last night--just under 7 hours, so that made me feel a little better, but sleep deprivation takes time to recover from. Time I don't have.

My plan is to eat my ramen (20 for $1,00 means it is a staple food in any diet). Then redo the past two homeworks for plastics to make sure I did understand where I made my mistakes. Oh, and the plastics project broke again. Alas, duct tape was not made for holding plastics together. Strapping tape it is!

Finals week. The bane of every college student. But once it's over, there shall be celebration and jubilation. The bane of every liver. Or is it kidney? Whatever. So long as large amount of alcohol and bong water are consumed in a jubilant and [soon to be] drunken manner.

Anyways, I'm tired as hell, and have been so since about 10PM or so. So I've slept maybe about 8 or 9 hours in the past 3 days (2 nights). Not sure what I've been averaging for the rest of the term, but I'm sure it's definitely *NOT* 8 hours (I'd peg it at 6-7 hours on the average). I do remember coming back from 7 weeks at MQP (averaged 6-7 hours per night for 7 weeks)...and promptly slept 13 hours the first night, and 9-10 hours a night for the next 10 days.

Yes, I know this is boring. Why the hell did you come here if you expected something sexy and exciting? That's what skinemax is for. Sigh, you'd thing they'd learn.

No longer president of school's chapter of Pi Tau Sigma. Good luck to the new one.

I feel like I need a damn good week's sleep to recover. Ugh. 'Night.

Today will be a very busy day. There had best be lots of Full Throttle (I can drink 70 cans before dying) or coffee at some point. And free food. Open bar?

I think I'm going to celebrate the end of this term with a nice bottle of good quality whiskey (as opposed to my usual selection of bottom shelf, $5 bottles), or a huge bottle of St. Brendan's or Bailey's. At least pure alcohol runs through my veins, instead of blood. Mmm...it burnses...it's mine, my own...my precious...

This does remind me of the time Marcky drowned moths in my hot cocoa. Death by chocolate. Poor moths :-(. Time for me to get some work done, in preparation for tomorrow.

Okdokes. Today was a day of procrastination and wasting of time. Started the plastics project, but that seems to be FUBAR. I did manage to finish the history paper...after 6.5 hours. It was only a 1 page paper, so that was quite a bit of wasted time. Could have banged that out in a half hour had I really wanted to. I hate getting over colds. I feel good enough to go out and do stuff, but a little bit remains and takes away all my motivation to do work.

I also have to return Asimov's "Foundation" series to the library. Found a book from 1882 in there. Good condition. It was like the Yellow pages, without the numbers.

I feel like a shithead for wasting so much time today. I could have done the history paper quickly, which would have given me time to finish a chunk of other stuff. Thermofluids meeting in 15 minutes. Hopefully finish that up tonight. Our coal plant proudly burns 10 000 000 000 pounds of coal every year (that's 340 pounds per second, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). We pwnz you.

Went to Tech Pizza today for lunch and splurged a bit...a large meatball sub (only $3), and a large sausage and mushroom pizza...mmm...better than surviving on ramen, tortilla chips and chili, tuna, and bread.

I CAN'T WAIT TILL I'M ALL BETTER SO I CAN KRIFFING DRINK DIET PEPSI AGAIN. What can I say? It's my Guiness. BRILLIANT!!!

Until I get back, mein kamraden, stay well, and remember that I would have to drink 28 gallons of Diet Pepsi in one sitting to have me die of a caffeine overdose. At least I could then go for the Guinness Book of World Records--longest piss.

Today was an interesting day...not counting the whiteout/blizzard conditions that reigned for a good part of the day. If I weren't still sick, I'd go make myself a hot toddy with my whiskey (specially bottled for Highland Liquors!!!).

I've been sitting around and thinking about stuff. But never you mind what I think about, because it won't be posted here at this moment...maybe later. So I've thrown on The Fifth Element to cheer me up a bit, but the sound sucks worse than my whiskey. That's pretty hard to do. Trust me. It's not specially bottled for Highland Liquors for nothing. Some real high quality stuff, let me tell you.

In other news, there is a massive snowball fight going on on the quad. It's even more funny because the lot of them (excepting my roommate) had already started the evening's drinking, and I know that at least 2 of them are lightweights. Fuckin' A I got the sound to not suck. Go me.

This weekend is going to be tough. Need to do research for history (probably take 3 hours), then write for the paper (another 3 hours), another Plastics homework assignment from hell, as well as a Plastics project, and on top of that, we have to finish designing our power plant for thermofluid design. Shouldn't be too difficult to finish the plant, but it can get complicated at times. I'm free after Thursday at 5PM at the latest, though, and probably will be done at around 4ish. And then I'm home for Christmas break.

I don't know what I'm going to do for Christmas break. Kind of like I don't know what I want to do with my life. Probably will work out quite a bit, hopefully get into good enough shape to fight by the time I get back to school. Maybe work. I don't know. We'll see. Probably work myself off the ramen and chili diet and get some real food into me.

5th Element sound went wonky again, so now it's Dodgeball. Maybe Anchorman next or maybe some Red vs. Blue. Because Caboose hates babies and Church is a gay robot.

'Night.

Against my better judgement, I've finally registered for Facebook.

In other news, I've been sick all week, symptoms started showing up on Monday...but didn't really start until Tuesday into Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be almost completely better tomorrow, I doubt it, but we'll see.

In even other news, yesterday I introduced my roommate to the joys of College University (http://www.collegeuniv.com). Definitely a hit. I want some CU toilet paper. Or some free bong water.

In more other news, I'm am going to get totally reamed by work this weekend. Good night.

Just got back from Tae Kwon Do. These guys are phenomenal kickers...unlike me. I'm pretty coordinated with my kicks, but thesee guys make me look like I have no inner ear. At least I've got the edge on them during the infrequent classes that we do a few joint locks and breaks. At least I'm not totally useless. So Muay Thai tomorrow and Vale Tudo Wednesday. Self reminder: wear cup. Second self reminder: fit mouthpiece, remember to bring mouthpiece to class.

Looks like I'm procrastinating on my plastics again. MQP meeting Wednesday @2. Shit, I forgot about the research meeting 3-5. 5-whenever will be working on plastics. Need to declare my minor tomorrow. Need to call someone.

I need to punch the wall. I probably should figure out a way to fix up the other hole, first, though.

So, came home Friday for my Grandmother's birthday (went to Inn at Bay Pointe). Saw some chavs leaving as we arrived. Supper was very good and very relaxed...I do wish it had been during daylight hours though.

Saturday, volunteered at the FIRST Lego League State competition being held at NQHS...spent most of my time as one of the announcers in the pits. Two cars were towed (including a Lexus), a set of keys were lost, and a debit card as well. No one came to claim the lost items. Well, looks like someone wasn't able to go home, and looks like another person doesn't have any gas money.

Sunday was just Sunday. Did some work on the thermofluids with Tim. He really was the mastermind behind the current homework assignment, as he was the one that put the Excel sheet together. We were kicking ourselves over how our heat exchanger was going to be 14 meters in diameter, with 460 pipes that were each 0.06 meters long. So basically it was a big disc. Then he realized we forgot to multiply something by 1000. So now we're at 12 meters long. *Phew*.

I came back to Worcester too late to partake in MMA today. Probably a good thing, too, as I still need to set my mouthpiece.

I feel like blah.
